Worship is about giving honor and praise to the God who has created us and redeemed us.  Of course, our whole lives are acts of worship when we live the way that God calls us to but Sunday morning worship is an especially important time in our worship of God.  Once a week we come together as the body of Christ to express our love and gratitude to God for God's continuing work in us to transform us into God's holy people.  We re-tell the story of God's faithfulness in our life together through music, prayer, scripture, and the sacraments.  We also believe that the re-telling of this story shapes and molds us so that we become a part of God's story of salvation as well.
